Let's cut to the chase:
Most times, things that are worth doing fucking hurt like hell.
You outgrow things: shoes, jobs, versions of you that you had to be to survive, and connections/friendships that reflect those versions of you, at least the ones that remain stagnant and become hindering.
I know that it is easier said than done.
The universe has been screaming, spit and all on my face from frustration, for months now.
I have been stubborn though coming up with excuses and justifying shitty behaviors such as my 9-5 dicking me around, allowing people to call themselves my friend when that wasn't the case, and even myself squeezing in time to paint instead of making the time to paint intentionally.
Life is short and personally, I am tired of putting myself at the end of the list.
Don't get me wrong, there's a lot that I have done for myself that I am proud of. There is a lot that I have overcome and learned to appreciate about myself and my own power.
There is a lot that I have unlearned.
& now it's time to let go of versions of myself that I am comfortable with... though they no longer serve me. If you can relate, take this as a message for you as well.
Trust your gut and dive deep into your dreams.
Shower yourself with abundance of self-love and freedom from bullshit.
Give Love. Receive Love. Be Love.
