The saying, "Everything happens for a reason" is an overplayed song. There have been times that I have aggressively skipped to the next song and left that playlist on shuffle. Something about me is that when I love a song... I LOVE A SONG. I will happily have it on replay for days. The saying, "Everything happens for a reason" , is something that I never want to hear when I am crawling through the mud only to find myself frantically searching for something to hold on to once the storm brings on the floods.
These recent heavy rainfalls tested me. For a while, I felt beaten and weakened but never enough to let go... of Life. Almost.
Being stalked and harassed on a daily basis bruised me. I had never before seen such a deep purple and such a deep black.
I hated myself for the fear that took over me.
The Universe and I; we danced a song with angry bangs on drums, and low-spirit instruments of string. We danced barbarically until we danced carelessly giving into the flow, accepting that there are highs and there are lows. We danced in our warlike forms remembering that transformation is growth.
