BeYouForYouNetwork: This week.

Updated: Mar 29, 2020

Welp, today is Sunday, March 22nd. It is the end of week #1 of Quarantine here in Maryland, it is my brother Alexander's 24th birthday, and also marks another year anniversary that we buried our brother Manny. Even though businesses are shutting down and emotions are just bouncing, the birds are chirping outside and flowers are starting to bloom.

A large percent of the world is at PAUSE to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus. The other percent is busy putting all energy possible to keep the peace in the limited number of places that are still open. These are crazy times that we live in. Moments like these are the times that you are able to start to see people's true colors. Fortunately, there are still lots of beautiful people out here and it's not difficult to join the club. All you have to do is be kind!

On Thurs. March 12th, my husband and I were laid off from La Prima Catering. All my "extracurricular" activities such as Trap & Paint, Mixed Martial Arts classes, and my personal mentoring and public painting classes have been cancelled. In a time that is most logical to panic, I am at peace. Though such things have halted at this time, Love stands strong and is dominant in my life. That is a blessing I will never take for granted.

Though I miss my dojo, I am proud of the steps that have been taken within my community to assure we remain healthy and strong. If you are in need of any herbal remedies, crystals, and special teas- Smile Herb Shop is still up and running. At all times, at all costs-ALWAYS make sure to honor "social distancing". It's an act of love. Smile Herb Shop is a great stop to not only get some essentials (oils, that is <3) but to also let go off negative energy, and recharge! You will leave a lot more uplifted then when you arrived and that is priceless. Pick up some selenite for your soul and give it a house tour of its new home.

Other than being grateful of my safe space, my family, and my good health- I am grateful and appreciative to La Prima Catering. Yes, I am laid off but I am grateful. These are hard times for everyone and I can only imagine the burden good CEO's carry as their decisions affect masses of families throughout the country. In these difficult times, I did one of the hardest things that I struggle with: I asked for help. I asked for help in the middle of a pandemic, closed my eyes, and crossed my fingers. My heart raced the whole time. Dave Evans, president of La Prima Catering, approved my request and thanks to him and the company this website will be running a lot more smoothly. Everything that I have had on the works for this network will be happening at a much faster rate now. Honestly, thanks to La Prima Catering, I will be able to build a whole new, better, and healthier relationship with my own website. Up to this date, this site has been managed through a desktop that was NEVER capable of building such an online presence. Everything that has been presented to you on this platform up to this date has partaken in a lot of screams, headaches, and moments of pure fury- all because the equipment I've had was extra... extra... extra... e..x...t...r...a.... slow! Other than making sure I received all vital information needed for Unemployment and Health Care moving forward, Dave Evans provided a new desktop in order for me "to continue pursuing passion"! Those were his words guys and I will forever cherish this moment. He provided a desktop that he didn't need, and that is compatible with my Art Career and the dreams I have for this website. This act of kindness lifted all of my vibrations as I embraced it as a confirmation that I must keep pushing- now harder than ever. I hope that this act of kindness inspires you as well. I hope that this act of kindness nudges your heart to give what you can, when you can! These are scary times, but we do not have to be scary people!

La Prima Catering is still open for business and is providing meals to your door; Individually packaged buffet meals as well as meals for the whole family. Guess what? They are also providing full frozen feasts for you to stock up as well! Make sure to add a special note that says, "Gabriela, BeYouForYouNetwork says thank you!" should the need to order arise.
