"New Moon in Scorpio 11/15: May the Old You Rest in Peace"
In my young life experience, I like to think I've gained some key insight and that is that us humxns keep forgetting that we are identical to nature. We forget because we don't see those natural behaviors materialize in our physical reality, leaving little room for intuition. There are some things we can only "know" without needing to see and that are "in the dark" because it can't be measured or weighed. One specific Scorpio energy that occurs beyond the physical dimension is death. Death is not only experienced physically because it happens every time we decide to make a new set of choices and essentially transform our lives. And we do that, more visibly, with our relationships.

Ideally, as humxns we are transforming often and wisely to veer away from any erred personas our ancestors took on as their identity. But healthy transformation is grounded in truth and fairness, and like a scorpion stinger, only the truth can cut through the lies that come to take over our lives to help liberate the more integral essence of ourselves.

Without the acknowledgment and application of the truth, we keep our bodies stuck in a capsule of time where on the outside it might look the same, but on the inside, the soul is carrying a rotting, dead weight. But the beauty of life is that humxn perception can be reduced to what choices we make. Even the act of not making a choice is a choice that produces a series of consequences, which is why it's so important to learn who you are and decide what you stand for, and the only way to do that is to become honest about what you are and what you aren't. The courage to stick to it comes next and then the achievement of real, balanced power comes in seeing the fruits of sticking to those choices.

This Scorpio New Moon brings a fresh start for us to make that single choice that stands between what is metaphorically a corpse and an electric new chance at life. Life isn't really that complicated if your perception of self is clear and you have fair morals, everything else, is mostly out of your control and you can only do as much as you can do to contribute to the collective, which can of course still be of great impact.

- Scorpio relates directly to the energy of death which is described as transformation as it is believed the energy never dies it is only redirected. It is hence also related to resurrection or reincarnation, but as I mentioned before, not just within the physical dimension but mentally, spiritually and emotionally as well (they are all connected to each other.)

- Scorpio is related to intense passions, to sex, to the pelvic area which is known as the root chakra, the base of the spine which is said to be the area that reigns our level of groundedness, it deals with things such as guilt and shame and is the first chakra that needs to be balanced in order for the rest to properly be balanced.
- Scorpio is fearless. Like scorpions, even if it is facing a threat of death that will most surely take it's life, it knows to sting its own self to save itself from a more painful death. Also like scorpions, Scorpio energy is about shedding skin. Taking time away from the world to gain perspective (undergoing a death process) essentially killing forever that version of self and fearlessly moving forward with a new perspective and sense of integrity.
